It was a joyous occasion for many families as they were out in numbers at the My Suva Park to celebrate Christmas.
Tavaita Tabutabu of Valelevu says her family made lunch and came to the seaside to have a picnic and enjoy themselves.
She says during COVID they were not able to go anywhere however this year they had the chance to be out, relax and enjoy themselves with their families.
She says they will have a simple Christmas night with a few bowls of kava and dinner with her family.
Tabutabu also wishes everyone an enjoyable Merry Christmas and urges people to stay safe.
