The Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union is eyeing Nukuvuto Ground at Queen Victoria School as a possible venue for the Vodafone Super Deans and Weet-Bix Raluve finals.
Speaking to fijivillage Sports, FSSRU Vice President Biu Colati says they are currently exploring available venues after being informed that the HFC Bank Stadium is unavailable due to preparations for international events.
Colati says the Union respects the decision by the Fiji Sports Council to close the stadium to ensure top-tier facilities for international games.
He also confirmed that Ba’s ground had been considered but is already booked.
As for the lead-up matches, Colati says the national quarterfinals and semifinals will be held in the west—across three grounds in Nadi and one in Lautoka, due to the need for four playing fields.
The national quarterfinals are scheduled for next Saturday, with the semifinals set for the 16th of next month.
