Discipline is one area of concern that the Fiji Rugby Union is looking to address after the first leg of the Super 7s series.

FRU CEO John O’Connor says they will be having discussions with teams to address this issue.

Fiji 7s rep Sevuloni Mocenacagi was red-carded twice while playing for Yamacia and subsequently suspended for 12 matches.

He had also thrown the ball at a referee.

O’Connor says referees were advised to maintain a high standard as they would rather address issues at home than have a red card at the Olympics.

After the first leg of the Super 7s series, Police Blue leads the points table with 22 points.

The second leg will be played on the 19th and 20th of next month at Prince Charles Park.
