In an effort to try and stop the spread of COVID-19, FRIEND Fiji has been providing masks and sanitisers to schools upon request.

CEO and Founder of FRIEND Sashi Kiran says these are primary, secondary and special schools from Lautoka and Ba that have requested and they have also picked it up from FRIEND.

Kiran says they have also received requests from schools from Vanua Levu, Sigatoka, Ra and Tavua. She says school managers have sent them emails requesting these items.

FRIEND has thanked the Rotary Club of Suva, European Union in the Pacific, New Zealand High Commission and Motibhai for the supply of these PPEs.

If some schools need the assistance provided by FRIEND Fiji, the school managers can email friend@connect.com.fj requesting for masks and sanitisers.

If you would like to provide assistance to help the schools, you can get the details on our Hands Across Fiji section of our website, fijivillage. If you want to assist these schools, you can contact FRIEND Fiji on 8983183 or friend@connect.com.fj
