Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Chief Executive Officer Mark Dixon says FRCS will continue to invest in its people through their initiatives which includes all staff pay increase, reinstatement of medical benefits, staff recognition awards, increase in annual leave per annum from 15 to 20 days, new uniforms and designing a new performance management system.

He says the above aligns with the FRCS’s philosophy that a motivated and engaged workforce translates into an exceptional customer experience.

Dixon says FRCS has also unveiled the new uniform for its frontline officers at the Nadi International Airport which is a contemporary design that features FRCS logo prominently on a white shirt with two black strips on each sleeve.

He says the new uniform represents the FRCS brand and inclusive culture as it provides a fresh look to the FRCS frontline officers reflecting the Organization's progressive nature.

The CEO says the frontline staff serve an average of 1500 customers daily and that strong borders are also a vital national line of defense against transnational crime.

He also says the roll out of the new uniform will create a highly visible presence at the border.
