Road conditions at the back of Hanson's Supermarket

Fiji Roads Authority says they are planning to carry out road works behind the Hanson's Supermarket in two weeks, subject to weather.

This is after members of the public have continued to raise concerns about the inconvenience caused by the potholes and cracked pavements behind Hanson’s Supermarket in Makoi.

FRA says there is a Water Authority of Fiji main line running behind the Supermarket that needs to be lowered to repair the road.

They say if it is not lowered, there is a possibility of it bursting again during road works due to heavy compaction and they have brought this issue to the attention of WAF.

We have also sent question to WAF regarding this matter.
