Fiji National Rugby League CEO Don Natabe says 35% of their players have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and they are liaising with clubs to get all their players vaccinated as their competitions will resume in March 2022.

Natabe says local clubs have been given time till December to get their players vaccinated.

He says this period will also give them time to prepare their domestic players and they are also looking forward to their off-season 9s tournament which will be played in November.

He says the cancellation of all club games for this year will give them good amount of time to prepare for the 2022 Rugby League World Cup in England.

He is urging all players and supporters around the country to get vaccinated as a number of restrictions have been eased.
