As part of a prostate cancer awareness event, the Fiji Motorcyclists Association will be having a FMA Movember BikeShow in partnership with the Fiji Cancer Society and the Land Transport Authority on the 15th of next month at the Fortech Complex Carpark in Nokonoko, Laucala Beach.

FMA Movember BikeShow, under the theme “Bikers for Prostate Cancer: Save It or Shave It,” aims to raise awareness about prostate cancer, promote men’s health, while also highlighting the importance of road safety.

Fiji Motorcyclists Association Vice President, Doctor Alipate Vakamocea emphasizes that there is a need to break the silence around prostate cancer and encourage men to talk about their health.

Doctor Vakamocea says that LTA will also be present at the event creating awareness on safe driving.

He says the program will include motorcycle and custom car displays, food and kava stalls, live entertainment and prizes for Fijians to win.

FMA encourages members of the public to attend the event with their families and friends, as entry is free.

The event will be on the 15th of next month from 6pm to 11pm.
