FIR lodged against filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in India

A First Information Report has been lodged against filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali following fraud allegations of breach of trust and misbehaviours in connection to his upcoming movie Love and War.

The complaint was filed by Prateek Raj Mathur, who claims he was appointed as a line producer however, later removed from the project without being paid.

Circle officer, Vishal Jangid says Mathur accuses Bhansali and his associates of assigning him with work and later cancelling his contract.

According to Hindustan Times, the case has been filed under charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy and criminal intimidation.

Meanwhile, film Love & War stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, which has been shooting in Rajasthan, is set to release on March 20th, 2026.
