Football’s governing body FIFA has paid tribute to former Fiji FA President, Dr Shamsud-Dean Sahu Khan who passed away this week.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says Dr Sahu Khan’s commitment, dedication and achievements will remain engraved in our memories and he will be missed.

Infantino says words seem inadequate to express the sadness they feel for this loss.

He has also extended his sympathy to Fiji FA and Dr Sahu Khan’s family and loved ones.

Dr Sahu Khan served as the President of Fiji FA for 26 years, from 1985 to 2011 after serving as the Vice President from 1971 to 1985.

He was a member of FIFA Disciplinary Committee for two terms of four years and also serving as the Deputy Chairman of the same committee for some time.
