Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

The Fijian Elections Office says they will be sending teams to Australia and New Zealand to conduct voter registration between the 14th to the 22nd of this month.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says the voter registration teams will be in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland and Fijians can make use of this opportunity to register, upgrade their Voter Card or update their voter details before the 2022 General Election.

He says the respective Fijian Missions in those countries will be making arrangements to reach Fijians who are not living in areas where the registration teams will be visiting.

The Supervisor adds all Fijians who will not be in Fiji on Election Day, are eligible to vote via postal voting and in order to do so, a voter would have to fill in the Postal Voting Application form and upload it onto the FEO portal on services.feo.org.fj/postal.

Saneem says they require voters to provide their name, as is shown on their VoterCard in the Postal Voting Application Form,

He says whether the VoterCard is green or blue, the name from the VoterCard is what they require plus the VoterCard number.

Postal voting applications will open on the day the Election Date is announced and voters can download the form from services.feo.org.fj/postal.
