People can expect better communication from the Fijian Elections Office as FEO Connect has been launched which will reimagine how the Office connects with the people of Fiji.

While launching the new platform, Supervisor of Elections Ana Mataiciwa says FEO Connect represents a deliberate shift because it is about returning to the fundamentals, which are clear communication, earned public trust, and genuine accessibility.

She says it is about listening more, speaking plainly, and engaging with purpose.

Mataiciwa says this launch signals the start of a one-year journey of readiness, not just operational readiness, but readiness in how they relate, respond, and reach out.

She adds that for the first time, they are unveiling their new public-facing tools, a fresh civic engagement mascot, and the 2024 Voter Perception Survey Report.

The Supervisor says the expectations of voters have changed, they want faster access to accurate information, a deeper understanding of electoral processes, and greater accountability from institutions.

Mataiciwa says given that they are mandated to uphold democracy, it is their responsibility to not only keep pace, but to lead with integrity and transparency.
