Execution will be key to success and a series of intense training sessions, preparation and system checks will boost our preparation.
This was shared by Fiji Water Flying Fijians Captain Tevita Ikanivere and Motikiai Murray after their training run.
Ikanivere says that the message is clear and that is selection is earned, not given.
Ikanivere says a physical contest is expected, especially in the later stages of the game, with the opposition described as big and strong but the team feels well-equipped to handle the pressure.
He adds that newcomers, though uncapped, have made a strong impression, coped very well, and look good on the field.
Murray says the standards remain high within the camp and that there is a level they have set which everyone in the team, especially the newer players, have to rise to meet.
Fiji plays Tonga at 3pm next Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
