FIJI Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne says no disrespect to anyone but everything always ramps up on the week of a Test match.

Byrne highlighted this to the media from their base camp at Holiday Inn when asked on how preparations are coming along for their game against Tonga this Saturday.

He says they talked last week about how they needed to get their intensity and physicality going, and the boys were awesome at it.

The coach says the players have embraced the new week and have done everything possible over the last two days to prepare themselves physically.

Fiji plays Tonga in Round 2 of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup at 3pm Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva
