Spain has secured its place in the last 16 of the Euro Championship 2024 after beating defending champions Italy 1-nil this morning.
Spain created countless chances and were utterly dominant but won by a narrow scoreline when Riccardo Calafiori scored an own goal in the second half.
The two European giants meeting in the group stages of the tournament meant there were high hopes and it lived up to its billing with an electric opening half.
Italy still has a chance of progressing where they face Croatia at 7am on Tuesday.
