Ellie Goulding says she was "not warned" about the pressures of fame when she started her career in 2009.

The pop star said her first few years in the spotlight were "tough" as she struggled with shyness while "being thrust in front of cameras".

She says she thought that was just what her life was going to be, and what she had signed up to.

Goulding says it's only in the last four years she realised that's not how it had to be adding she wished there had been a little more help.

The star admitted there had been times when she felt really, really low, but added: she is feeling good now.
