Mike Ellery will return to England Sevens action after being included in Simon Amor’s squad for the fourth round of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Las Vegas.
Ellery burst onto the scene this season, scoring eight tries, but missed the Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens in December last year with an injury.
Also recalled into the squad is experienced forward Chris Cracknell and flyhalf Christian Lewis-Pratt to replace Matt Turner, John Brake and Sam Edgerley.
England lies fourth in the overall IRB 7s standings and face Samoa, Portugal and Uruguay in the pool stages of the USA 7s.
Meanwhile Fiji is in pool B with New Zealand, Australia and Scotland and the USA 7s kicks off next Saturday.
