Elevated areas along Princes Road, Samabula, Tacirua and Coloisuva should expect water supply to be restored today as Water Authority of Fiji teams are carrying out further works to boost pressure.

Most residents in Ono Street, Moala Street, Lakeba Street, Fulaga Street, Kabara Street, Nayau Street, Helsen Street, Upper and Lower Bureta Street, Upper Ragg, Amputch, Devoji, Sakoca, Dokanaisuva and Coloisuva started getting water supply last night.

Thousands of people in Samabula North, Tamavua, Namadi, Delainavesi and Suva have been facing water cuts since Thursday after a burst main at Waimanu Pumping Station.

Call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.

You should store water now for at least two to three days if you live in Suva, Nasese and Laucala Bay as the Water Authority of Fiji says the Flagstaff Reservoir did not recover well to healthy operational levels last night and as a result, water levels will drop throughout the day to critical level.

Affected areas are Amy Street, Brown Street, Domain Road, High Street, Johnson Street, Laucala Bay Road, McGregor Road, Muanikau Road, Ratu Sukuna Road, Stewart Street, Spring Street, Queen Elizabeth Drive and Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese.

Call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.
