Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s new film, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, is performing very well at the box office and has surpassed Sanam Teri Kasam to become Rane’s highest-grossing film to date.

Released on Diwali, the romantic drama has earned 48.34 crore rupees, approximately $12.5 million dollars, in its six-day extended opening weekend, surprising everyone with its strong performance.

According to Koimoi, even though it was released alongside Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and received mixed reviews, the film has managed to draw good crowds.

The Diwali holidays helped boost its numbers, but collections have remained solid even after the festival.
