EFL provides govt over $30,000 to assist in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic

Energy Fiji Limited has provided the Government $30,516 to assist in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

While receiving the donation, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama says such assistance will certainly help the country towards containing the pandemic.

EFL Chief Executive Officer, Hasmukh Patel says the contribution was part of an initiative by the employees of EFL to assist Fijians that have been affected.

He says the fundraising drive was divided into two rounds with the first round seeing the staff collect $20,000 and the second round adding another $10,000.
