Digicel Fiji Bula Boys player and Navua midfielder Thomas Dunn will head to Australia this Sunday for a trial with Sydney.

Team manager Kartik Reddy says it is an exciting opportunity for Dunn to showcase his talents on a larger stage and potentially secure a spot with the A-League team.

Reddy says he will be attending training sessions and playing in friendly matches during his stay with the club for the next two weeks from Monday.

He says Dunn's remarkable journey, both on and off the field, has captivated fans and earned him recognition for the trials with the Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales.

The Fiji Football Association says they will be taking on all responsibilities for Dunn's trials in Sydney.

They say they are assisting Dunn in terms of his welfare during his stay with the club.
