Dubai 7s: Fijiana 7s goes down 24-7 to China in 9th place semi finals

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side lost to China 24-7 in the 9th-place semi-final playoff at the HSBC Dubai 7s.

China scored four tries, where Dou Xinrong scored a double, and Gao Xiaoyang and Yan Meiling scored a try each.

Lavena Cavuru scored the Fijiana's only try.

China led Fiji 19-0 at halftime.

Meanwhile, Australia is leading Great Britain 14-0 in the women's Cup semi final match.

New Zealand will face France at 9.22 tonight in the second semi final.

The final will be at 3.35am tomorrow.
