Dubai 7s: Fiji to face Argentina at 10.28 tonight in the second semi final

The Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s side will meet Argentina, while Spain will face New Zealand in the semi finals of the HSBC Dubai 7s.

Fiji beat France 19-17, Argentina defeated Australia 22-20, Spain edged Great Britain 19-14, and New Zealand beat South Africa 24-17.

During Fiji vs France match, the French team scored first through Liam Delamare, and the Fijians responded through tries by Kavekini Tanivanuakula and Filipe Sauturaga.

Fiji led France 14-5 at half time.

The second half saw France make a comeback by scoring two tries through Jordan Sepho and Victor Hannoun to put them in a 17-14 lead.

The final minutes saw Fiji putting on a magnificent finish as Vuiviawa Naduvalo ran 70-metres to score the winning try and put Fiji into the semi finals.

Spain will take on New Zealand at 10.06 tonight in the first semi final, and Fiji will meet Argentina at 10.28 tonight in the second semi final.

The men's cup final will be at 4.11am tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Great Britain Women's 7s will take on the Australian Women's 7s side, and New Zealand will face France in the women's cup semi finals.

The women’s cup semi final will kick off at 9.12 tonight and the cup final will be at 3.35am tomorrow.
