The Black Ferns 7s team are through to the Dubai 7s Cup Final tomorrow morning after dismantling Japan 31-5 in the first semifinal.
They ran in five tries to Jorja Miller, Kelsey Teneti, Katelyn Vahaakolo and Mahina Paul with a double.
New Zealand led 14-0 at halftime.
Japan were lucky enough to get a try to Honoka Tsutsumi after Vahaakolo received a yellow card for a deliberate knockdown.
Australia will play New Zealand in the Cup Final at 3.35am tomorrow while the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s meet Japan at 2.35am for the third place playoff.
