Drunk Police officer arrested for failure to comply with orders

A Police officer was among seven people who were arrested in the last 48 hours for failure to comply with orders.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says the 25 year old Police officer was arrested on Sunday night as he was found drunk in Deuba.

Tudravu says from 11pm on Sunday to 4am yesterday six reports were received while one case was reported from last night till 4am this morning.

The lone case recorded last night was in the Central Division involving a 24 year old woman who was found walking around Suva.

The Western, Eastern, and the Northern Division recorded zero cases over the last 48-hours.
