Drug related offences have spiked by 42% - SSP Vusonilawe

Drug related offences have spiked by 42 percent.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe highlighted this at the 2024 Festive Ops Stakeholders Workshop and Briefing at the Tanoa Plaza.

SSP Vusonilawe says with the current condition, the rising crime rate in Fiji has gone up by 27 percent.

He says it increased over this month in terms of their quarterly analysis.

SSP Vusonilawe says they need all stakeholders to help them in their fight against drug issues.

He says this operation will be conducted in phases.

He says let us board the same boat and deal with these things together.
