Drua fumble in last minute, giving the ball and game to Tahs 29-24

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua fumbled the ball in the last minute giving the ball and the game to the Waratahs in their round 3 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match.

The Tahs won 29-24 at Allianz Stadium.

In a game where the lead changed several times, the Drua stood up to the test but improper game management in the last few minutes let them down.

The Tahs led 17-12 at half-time.

Winger Ponipate Loganimasi got a try in the first and second half with Vuate Karawalevu getting one as well.

Mesulame Dolokoto got on the scoreboard as well from a lineout move from a 5 metre lineout.

While the Drua have most definitely improved in their set pieces, it all comes down to game management in the end.

There were 2 yellow cards flashed by the ref in the game to Tahs flanker Miles Amatosero and Kitione Salawa.

It looked like there were a few calls made by the referee that overlooked forward passes and offsides by the Tahs.

The Drua need to regroup, as they face top of the table Chiefs at Lautoka's Churchill Park next Saturday.
