Drua Women make 5 changes against the Rebels

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s side have made five changes to their starting line-up against the Melbourne Rebels in Round 5 of the Super Rugby Women’s Competition this weekend.

The Drua women’s team will be aiming for a win to set up a home semi final next Friday.

Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has retained his forward pack that started against the Brumbies last week, with Salanieta Nabuli starting at loosehead prop, Keleni Marawa is at hooker, and the versatile Vika Matarugu at tighthead prop.

Experienced locks Asinate Serevi and Jade Coates will again feature in the middle row, with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega at openside flanker and captain Karalaini Naisewa retaining her place at number 8.

Evivi Senikarivi is back at halfback alongside Salanieta Kinita, who makes her first start of this season at flyhalf.

Adita Milinia returns to the starting lineup and will pair with Repeka Tove on the wing.

Blockbusting centre Merewai Cumu is back at second five, partnering with Vani Arei, who is at outside centre.

Last week’s Tonezzz Player of the Match, Atelaite Buna will start at fullback.

The Drua Women will take on the Rebels at 7.05pm Saturday.
