Driver of a private car being questioned by police following accident in Babavoce

Police are questioning the driver of a private car following an accident along the Kings Highway in Babavoce today where a bus tumbled off the road.

Around 60 passengers escaped serious injuries.

Five passengers were taken to the hospital.

Police say the driver of the private car allegedly caused the accident.

The circumstances surrounding the accident is unclear at this stage.
