Police have questioned the driver of the vehicle that was allegedly involved in the fatal road accident in Ba yesterday morning.
They are yet to confirm if any charges have been laid in the case.
A 5-year-old girl lost her life in that accident near Sorokoba.
Police say the girl was walking in front of her mother when she allegedly ran across the road and was hit by an oncoming vehicle driven by a woman from Rarawai, Ba.
The road death toll currently stands at 21 compared to 37 for the same period last year.
