It is a dream come true for top local rugby referee Tevita Rokovereni as he has been selected to officiate at the Olympics in the Women’s 7s competition.

Rokovereni says he began his refereeing career in 2008 and this is the pinnacle of it.

The former Rishikul Sanatan College student says the journey has been filled with highs and lows but it has been worthwhile.

He further says he is in camp with the Fiji 7s team as he works to get to the desired standard.

Rokovereni has been officiating in the World 7s Series and has also officiated at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
