Dominion Transport Limited Director Leena Nandan says they are losing out on $1,500 income on a daily basis as a direct impact of COVID-19.

Dominion Transport Limited services routes in Uciwai, Nalovo, Nadovi, Nawaicoba, Momi, Nabila, Malamala, Tunalia and Malolo in Nadi.

Nandan says their business is very low and they are unable to meet the fuel payment demands.

She says as a response to this, all employees are now working on reduced hours and they are now operating the morning and afternoon labour and school trips.

There are 32 people employed by the Dominion Transport Limited.

Nandan adds that they have suspended services in the day in some areas as they are only carrying about 2 to 4 passengers.

Nandan adds that there has been some relief for them as there are lesser Rural Service Licensing vehicles who are servicing their routes.
