Doctor Raijeli Taga will take over from Pita Wise as the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister.

This is after Wise handed his resignation following a complaint against him last week.

The new position has been confirmed by the Public Service Commission Chairperson Luke Rokovada to fijivillage News today.

Dr Taga is currently serving as the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources.

When questioned on the status of the investigation on Wise, Rokovada says they have done their part and it is up to the complainant to file the report with Police.

Rokovada says Dr Taga resumes her APS post from October 14th 2024.
