If you are not vaccinated, you are not safe.

This has been stressed by TISI Sangam President Sadasivan Naicker who says people should not believe in the false rumours regarding the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.

Naicker says he knows some people who are against the vaccine due to religious beliefs but they firmly believe that everyone should get vaccinated.

He says this is what they have been telling their members and adds most of the district and national executives have received the first jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Naicker says with rapid rise in cases on a daily bases now, the vaccine is the only thing that could keep people safe.

He says despite majority of the COVID-19 cases being in the Central Division, people are still moving around and it is the responsibility of an individual to keep them and their families safe.
