As we celebrate Diwali tomorrow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad says this is a time to come together as one community to share joy, strengthen bonds and embrace the spirit of unity and inclusivity that defines us as a nation.

Professor Prasad says let us be reminded of the timeless message Diwali carries, which is the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and hope over despair.

In his message, the Deputy Prime Minister wishes that may the light of Diwali brighten our hearts and homes, and inspire us to build a future filled with peace, compassion and understanding.

Diwali will be celebrated tomorrow, while Govardhan Pooja and Bhai Dooj will be observed on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
