Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Sakiasi Ditoka has assured staff members of the Ministry serving in the Western Division that he would fully support them in the work they do as he takes over the helm of leadership at the Ministry.

Ditoka is currently in the Western Division for his first official tour of the division since taking up office last month.

Ditoka told the staff that he assures them of his full support in the places where he will have to fight for them and has asked the staff to give their full support in the work that they do on a daily basis.

He says they have a lot in front of them, but nothing is impossible if they all work together.

The Minister encouraged staff members to pursue further studies while in the civil service adding this would be an area of focus for Government.
