Verenaisi Bari Ditavutu who is no stranger to the 7s circuit even though she missed the first two tournaments of the HSBC 7s tournament in Dubai and Cape Town, hopes to better the standards of the team if she is picked for the next leg in Perth.

25-year-old Ditavutu says after their dismal performance in the first two tournaments, they will try and improve from it and work towards securing a top 8 position in the standing.

The Drekeniwai, Cakaudrove prop forward says they want to improve from where they left off and also secure a place in the LA 7s which is the last tournament for the season for them.

She says there is a lot of new players in the squad and they are constantly pushing each other during training to achieve their best performance.

Ditavutu says they will probably fill in two teams for the McDonald's Coral Coast 7s which will be a good build up for the them building up for the remaining tournaments in the HSBC 7s tournaments.

Perth 7s is from the 24th to the 26th of this month.
