The Naitasiri COVID-19 Command Centre has put together a plan and a timetable to help control overcrowding at the Sawani Border in Naitasiri.

The various districts have been grouped and allocated separate days to come to the Sawani border to conduct their business.

For the people living in the districts of Lomaivuna, Naitasiri and Waimaro, the days you are allocated are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, people in Matailobau and Waimaro are allocated Tuesdays and Thursdays while Saturdays is for the districts of Wainimala, Lomaivuna and Waimaro.

They are also encouraging the people of Naitasiri to take advantage of the canteens in their villages and communities or the shops at Vunidawa including the Post Offices in Lomaivuna and Vunidawa.

People can check the Naqali Health Centre or Vunidawa Hospital for medical clinics.

Farmers can visit the border every Wednesdays because the agricultural officers, fertilizers, pesticides and weedicides will be sold at the border by the South Pacific Fertilizers.
