District soccer reps to feature for Police in Sukuna Bowl

A number of district soccer reps are expected to feature for the Police team when they face Army in the FMF Sukuna Bowl soccer match on Wednesday.

This season’s top goal scorer, Sairusi Nalaubu, veteran goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau, Akuila Mateisuva, Shahil Dave, Filipe Baravilala, Abbu Zahid, Tevita Waranivalu, Remueru Takiate and Meli Codro are expected to feature for Police.

Police won the title last year after they beat Army 3-1.

The soccer match will start at 3pm Wednesday at Albert Park.

Meanwhile, the Sukuna Bowl Rugby match will start at 4.30pm Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
