Discipline, commitment, honesty, integrity and punctuality are key off-field traits that shape players into better rugby players on the field.
This was highlighted by Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, Eroni Sotutu who says developing character beyond rugby is central to the team’s philosophy.
Sotutu says the Drua management focuses on building good people first, because good people make good players.
He says that a player’s current circumstances do not define their future, and hard work beyond perceived limits is what truly pays off.
Sotutu says the key is staying dedicated, because good things don’t come easy and always surround yourself with good people.
