Sailosi and Viliame

Disability is not a barrier if the heart and mind are willing and this exemplifies the power of passion and perseverance for two deaf and mute students of Marist Champagnat Institute in Vatuwaqa.

In a video posted by Fiji National Rugby League, 16-year-old Sailosi from Sigatoka says he enjoys playing rugby and that is why his involved in the game.

17-year-old Viliame from Ba says he also loves playing rugby.

FNRL says the duo share a common love for rugby league and are determined to play the games like their team mates and even better.

They add their courage truly inspires people not to let obstacles define people’s dreams.
