Digicel has launched a Tonga tsunami donation platform for the diaspora community and the Digicel Pacific family to support the relief and rehabilitation work of the Red Cross and Mordi Trust to help rebuild homes of those who lost everything following the devastation in the Kingdom last month.

Digicel will match a dollar for every dollar donated by their customers for up to TOP$250,000 with all donations going directly to the Red Cross Tonga and Mordi Trust.

Digicel Tonga CEO, Anthony Seuseu says this donation platform will help their diaspora and Pacific family to make donations simply and make a difference with much required relief efforts in the island.

People can instantly donate by texting into the shortcode 7788. In Samoa, donations are $1 Tala, $1 in Fiji, 50 Vatu in Vanuatu and $1 AUD in Nauru.

The diaspora community can send their donations directly to Digicel Mobile Money or MyCash number: +6768888877.
