Digicel Fiji is concerned about reports that attempts are made to lure their customers to give up their sim cards.

Digicel Fiji CEO Darren McLean said they are very disappointed that last week on a very large scale, they believe that their competitor used dealers to approach Digicel customers across Fiji and offered them a bounty to give up their Digicel sim.

McLean has urged all Digicel customers to be vigilant and look out for this.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji’s Manager Corporate Affairs Shailendra Prasad said Vodafone is not engaged in any such practice other than upgrading old SIMs of its own customers with the new SIMs that is compatible with 3G and 4G network technologies.
