The special administrator for Tavua Town Council is calling on people in the area to cope with the dust arising from the road upgrading works currently underway.
Arun Prasad said they are currently in the process of major road development to improve the image of Tavua town and hopes people will have patience until the upgrading works is completed.
He said they are wetting the roads on a daily basis to see that dust settles down.
Prasad said that work on Dileka Street and Hospital Road has finished which were full of potholes and the Hospital Road now has a footpath.
He said the major road from Tavualevu village to Tavua Council is currently being upgraded.
