Despite a shaky start to the tournament the Digicel Young Kulas have qualified for the semi-finals in the OFC Women's U19 Championship.

The Young Kulas will face Samoa in the first semi final.

Young Kulas coach Angeline Chua says it has been a roller coaster journey for the team and they are prepared.

Chua says they have analyzed their previous games and learnt from their mistakes. She further says the win against New Caledonia in the quarter-finals has boosted their confidence.

She says they have also focused on their recovery and defence that will help them to win against Samoa and make history by qualifying for the final.

Chua has also asked people to come out in large numbers and support the girls. The Young Kulas will take on Samoa at 3 this afternoon at the HFC Bank Stadium.
