Deo plans to pursue a Bachelors of Commerce at USP after scoring 342 out of 400

Even though 18-year-old Tejel Taniya Deo missed out on her goal of 360 marks out of 400 by 18, she promised herself that she would continue her studies by pursuing a university education next year.

The Bhawani Dayal Arya College student scored 342 out of 400.

She plans to pursue her Bachelors of Commerce at the University of the South Pacific next year.

Deo also acknowledged her parents and siblings' support throughout the academic year.

She adds, during this festive season we must remain vigilant, and look out for vulnerable family members ensuring everyone stays safe.
