Defending Champions, Yalalevu FC beat Northpole FC 2-1

Defending champions, Yalalevu FC from Ba has booked a spot in the semifinals of the Vodafone National Club Championship after beating Suva's Northpole FC 2-1 in the final group A match today.

Yalalevu FC finished on top of the table with 6 points while Northpole FC failed to register a win in the tournament.

Junior Balbir Singh and Nabil Begg scored the goals for Yalalevu FC in the first half while Mashooq Iliyaz scored Northpole FC’s only goal in the second half.

Kasavu FC from Rewa is currently playing Greenstar FC from Nadroga in the final Group B match.

Both teams are locked nil all.

They have already qualified for the semifinals.
