The Cuvu College Under 18 side will try to amend their line-out and scrummage weaknesses before they take on Nasinu Secondary School in the Vodafone Super Deans semi-final this Saturday.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Principal Manoj Vikashroop says the coaching staff is working to iron out every weakness that emerged in last week’s game before they take the field this Saturday.

Vikashroop says the focus of the school is to develop the students in rugby, not only to participate in the Deans competition but also to make rugby a career for them.

Cuvu College last reached the Deans final in 2018 when they lost to RKS.

Defending champions, Queen Victoria School, will take on Ratu Navula College in the second semi-final.

In the U14 grade Mahatma Gandhi Memorial plays Lelean Memorial School, while Marist Brothers High School will face RKS.

The U15 grade sees Gospel High School play Marist, and Suva Grammar taking on QVS in the second semi-final.

In the U16 RKS will meet Lelean while QVS will meet Suva Grammar.

In the U17 Ratu Navula will play RKS, and QVS will battle Marist. For the U19 Lami High School plays Ratu Navula, while Naitasiri Secondary meet QVS.

All these games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium.
