Queen Victoria School will take on Suva Grammar School in the U14 Vodafone Super Deans final after fighting off a determined Lelean Memorial School side 17-13.

Grammar beat Marist Brothers High School 10-8 in the first semi final.

Reserve hooker Lachlan Nawaqatabu has put his QVS side through to the final after scoring in the dying minutes.

Lelean led through most of the first half after scoring a try and a converted penalty.

QVS struck through prop Kaliova Kalou just before half-time.

Lelean led 8-5 at half-time.

Daniel Tuiloma, with some amazing footwork, was able to sidestep through the Lelean defence to put his QVS side in front for the first time at 12-8.

Lelean centre, Eliki Ratini put the Davuilevu boys in front after a set-piece play, but unfortunately, they couldn't convert the kick.

Nawaqatabu had the last say as he scored the last try and put the boys from Matavutucou through to the finals.

In the U18 Deans semi-final at the HFC Bank Stadium, Nasinu Secondary will take on Natabua High School at 3.30pm, and Suva Grammar School will take on Ratu Kadavulevu School at 5pm.
