Lelean Memorial School will take on Ratu Kadavulevu School in the Vodafone Super Deans U17 final after both teams won their respective semi finals this afternoon.
Lelean played smart against Suva Grammar, capitalizing on the penalties to win 27-25.
They collected 15 points from the penalties.
The Suva Grammar side continued to put pressure on Lelean’s defence and managed to get another try in the final minutes of the game, but they could not convert that try, giving the Davuilevu side the win.
Meanwhile, RKS dug deep to beat Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute 22-8 in the second semi final.
Looking at the results from the other semi finals, QVS defeated Lelean Memorial School 17-13, and Suva Grammar beat Marist Brothers High School 10-8 in the U14 grade, MGM High School edged QVS 15-14, and Suva Grammar School defeated RKS 19-15 in the U15 grade, Gospel High School edged Marist Brothers High School 14-12 and Suva Grammar showed thumped RKS 30-5 in the U16 grade, and Nasinu Secondary defeated QVS 12-5 in the U19 grade.
Meanwhile, Nasinu Secondary is leading Natabua High School 19-0.
The second U18 Deans semi final match between RKS and Suva Grammar will be held at 5pm today at the HFC Bank Stadium.

A thrilling all-Western final is set for next week as Jasper Williams High School will take on Natabua High School in the U18 Weet-Bix Raluve competition.
Jasper sealed their spot in the final after a hard-fought 34-22 victory over Muaniweni College.
The turning point came when substitute Latalini Colala made a game-changing impact off the bench, scoring a brilliant solo try.
Using her sheer strength and determination to run over 40 metres, brushing off defenders to cross the try line and help secure the win for the Lautoka-based school.
Muaniweni College, from Naitasiri, started strong and were impressive throughout the match; however, they struggled to contain the energy and depth of the Jasper bench in the final minutes of play.
Jasper sealed the game with another try in the dying moments, driving the final nail in the coffin.
In the other semifinal, Natabua High School narrowly defeated MGM High School 15-12 in a nail-biting encounter.
Looking at the results of the U16 semi finals, Sigatoka Methodist College delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Dreketi Central College 29–0, and Ratu Latianara College edged ACS 12-10.

Gospel High School has created an upset in the Vodafone Super Deans after bowling out Marist Brothers High School 14-12 in the U16 semi finals.
Marist drew first blood when winger Eneri Nadule ran bust through in the 20th minute.
They led 7-0 at half-time.
The boys from Flagstaff extended their lead in the second half after reserve Watson Qalikaono barged over the defence.
Gospel finally got their names on the score sheet after a storming run from fullback Isireli Waqanisau.
Gospel centre Josaia Turaga scored a converted try to book their side in the final.
In the second semi final, Suva Grammar showed a dominant performance against RKS, defeating them 30-5.
Grammar dominated throughout the match.
Grammar will face Gospel High School in the U16 final next week.

Ratu Latianara College pulled off a stunning upset by narrowly defeating Adi Cakobau School in a thrilling Weet-Bix Raluve Under-16 semi-final clash today, sending fans from both schools into a frenzy at Burkhurst Park.
The match lived up to its hype, with both teams showcasing structured and entertaining rugby that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
ACS came into the game as favourites, consistently stringing together over 10 phases with each possession; however, the resilient Ratu Latianara defense stood firm, holding off wave after wave of attacks from the Sawani side.
In dramatic fashion, Ratu Latianara sealed the win with a last-minute try, crushing the hopes of the ACS players and securing their place in next week's final against Sigatoka Methodist High School.

MGM High School has created a major upset, edging Queen Victoria School 15-14 in the first U15 Vodafone Super Deans semi final at Buckhurst Ground this morning.
MGM High led QVS 10-8 at halftime.
QVS Isimeli Raibevu missed three critical penalty shots, which cost them the match.
Meanwhile, Suva Grammar School defeated RKS 19-15 in the second semi final at Bidesi Ground.
Suva Grammar will take on MGM in the U15 final next week.

Queen Victoria School will take on Suva Grammar School in the U14 Vodafone Super Deans final after fighting off a determined Lelean Memorial School side 17-13.
Grammar beat Marist Brothers High School 10-8 in the first semi final.
Reserve hooker Lachlan Nawaqatabu has put his QVS side through to the final after scoring in the dying minutes.
Lelean led through most of the first half after scoring a try and a converted penalty.
QVS struck through prop Kaliova Kalou just before half-time.
Lelean led 8-5 at half-time.
Daniel Tuiloma, with some amazing footwork, was able to sidestep through the Lelean defence to put his QVS side in front for the first time at 12-8.
Lelean centre, Eliki Ratini put the Davuilevu boys in front after a set-piece play, but unfortunately, they couldn't convert the kick.
Nawaqatabu had the last say as he scored the last try and put the boys from Matavutucou through to the finals.

The Suva Grammar School U14 rugby team is through to the Vodafone Super Deans final after surviving a late comeback from Marist Brothers High School in the first semi final this morning at Buckhurst Park.
Grammar edged Marist 10-8.
The match was filled with intensity as both teams fought hard from the start to the final minutes.
Marist got first points through a penalty, but Suva Grammar responded with a try from Charlie Ligabalavu to put the Lions in a 5-3 lead at the break.
Ratu Isikeli Taubaleqalo extended Suva Grammar’s lead, scoring a fabulous try through a set piece that started from a scrum.
Apimeleki Ratulevu scored for Marist in the final minute of the match, but their fly-half could not convert the try, giving Grammar the victory.
Meanwhile, QVS is leading Lelean Memorial School 12-8 in the second U14 semi final.
Matches coming up at the HFC Bank Stadium, Sigatoka Methodist College will take on Dreketi College in the first U16 Weet-Bix Raluve semi final at 10.10am, and followed by Suva Grammar facing Lelean Memorial School in the Deans U17 semi finals at 12.40pm.
In other matches at Buckhurst Park, MGM High School will face QVS in the U15 semi final at 9.40am, ACS will meet Ratu Latianara College in the U16 Raluve semi final at 11am and Suva Grammar will face RKS in the Deans U16 semi final at 12.10am.
